The Technology Assistance Division (TAD) for the National Federation of the Blind of Kentucky provides members and non members alike with an opportunity to participate online via Zoom once per month for a training series on various Assistive Technology topics. Please join us! These trainings are designed to provide you with the tools necessary to enhance your daily lives through independence! We know that technology is a mainstay in our society today, so learn what you can so that you aren't left behind! We must do everything that we can to lower obstacles that prevent us from competing effectively and efficiently at school and in our jobs.

NFB Kentucky TAD Receives The 2014 Robert E. Whitehead Award
Who was Robert E. Whitehead, and what is the Robert E. Whitehead Award? Well, let us tell you a bit about Robert E. Whitehead. Robert (Bob) E. Whitehead was the second sitting president of the NFB Kentucky affiliate. This award is presented to an affiliate chapter or division that strives to build membership in the organization . The chapter or division is also actively changing the public's perceptions about blindness through innovative projects and community outreach.
